The successful youth film Dummie the mummy gets a sequel. The Egyptian hero and his best friend Goos experience in the Christmas holidays next year their second movie adventure. It announced Thursday. Distributor Dutch Filmworks and producer Paul Voorthuysen
The title of Part 2 is Dummie the Mummy and Sphinx Shakaba. In the sequel Goos and Dummie go in search of a mysterious statue that the mummy can help you be as famous as his father.
The story is based on a book by author Tosca Menten again. Protagonist Julian Ros returns as Goos, best friend Dummie. Also screenwriter Tijs van Marle and director Pim van Hoeve do it again.
The recordings go in the first half of next year start. Since its release on October 9 saw more than 330 thousand visitors the first film. Dummie the mummy has also sold to France, Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, Poland and Latin America.
