Real Madrid suffered a convincing home win recorded in the
Primera Division. Athletic Bilbao was defeated 5-0 at the
Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Cristiano Ronaldo made three of the five goals and has now scored in eight consecutive games.
Ronaldo opened the scoring in the second minute after the break and was twice more accurate. The other two goals came in the name of
Karim Benzema.
Real Madrid stands with fifteen points from seven games in fourth place in the Spanish league. Leader
FC Barcelona has four points more.
