Andy Murray for the first time in over a year, once again reached the final of an ATP tournament. The British tennis player hit in the Chinese Shenzhen past Juan Monaco in three sets: 2-6, 6-3, 6-0.Murray knew fourteen months ago to get any finals since his victory at Wimbledon and sank to eleventh place in the world.
Murray, placed second, fighting for the title Sunday with Tommy Robredo. The Spaniard (4) charged simply with Santiago Giraldo (6): 6-1, 6-4.
The final of the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur is between Kei Nishikori and Julien Benneteau. The Japanese (1) won 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 against Jarkko Nieminen. The Frenchman (4) beat Ernests Gulbis (2), 6-4, 6-4.
