Nvidia used three Samsung patents in tablets

Chip maker Nvidia has used in tablet chip techniques patented by Samsung. The company violated three patents from Samsung.
That particular a judge of the US International Trade Commission USITC, reports news agency Bloomberg.
USITC will investigate whether action should be taken. The commission may prohibit imports of Nvidia products in the United States.
The patented technologies are used in the Shield tablets from Nvidia. One of the patents expires next year.
Samsung:
The lawsuit was filed by the Korean Samsung, in response to an earlier lawsuit from Nvidia.
Nvidia accused Samsung and chip maker Qualcomm has infringed its three patents on graphics chip techniques.
On 15 December a judge ruled from the USITC that there was no infringement of two patents. Samsung did make use of a third patent, but that was not valid according to the judge.
Nvidia has announced in that case to appeal.
