Snap Chat is trying to reassure users about new privacy policy

Snap Chat attempt to reassure its users about its new privacy rules. The chat app says no to save photos and videos on its servers.
Snap Chat recently published a new version of its privacy policy, after which unrest arose among Snap Chat users. The service would have given themselves permission to store photos and video forever on its servers.
According to the company, however, nothing has changed. “Our privacy policy remains, as before, that messages are automatically deleted from our servers when they are viewed or expired,” writes Snap Chat. The department stressed that there are screenshots taken by others.
Snap Chat says its new privacy policy in particular has been rewritten to make it begrijpbaarder. There are also new provisions recorded on purchases within the app.
