The special episode of the television series Sherlock is not being broadcast during the Christmas season, but on New Year’s Day.
This is reported by the creators of the series.
The episode is titled ‘The Abominable Bride’. In the UK you can see the so-called special in the cinemas; it is not known whether the same will be done in the Netherlands.
The new episode of Sherlock is set in the nineteenth century. According to the creators, it is possible that after Sherlock and his assistant John Watson also Mycroft in the series will appear. There is also a chance that returns nemesis Moriarty.
Holidays Special
Producer Steven Moffar had according to The Wrap have already remarked that the holidays special would occur during the time when the books about Sherlock Holmes written, around 1887. The regular episodes of the series are set in the present.
