Samsung unveils new flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S2

Samsung releases a new version of the Galaxy Tab S in the market. The Tab S2 again makes use of an AMOLED screen, but wrapped it in a thinner casing.
Where the earlier Tab S in sizes of 8.4 and 10.5 inches on the market, will his successor in sizes of 8 and 9.7 inches.

The tablets have a metallic edge and a plastic back. The Tab S2 is only 5.6 millimeters thick and weighs 389 grams (9.7 inch) or 265 grams (8 inches).

Both versions have a AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels. The use of AMOLED technology, which is unique in the tablet market, should provide better black levels and accurate colors.

The tablet makes use of an octacore Exynos-processor which previously was also used in the Galaxy Note 4. The device receives 3 GB of memory and is equipped with 32 GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.

Price
Like the Tab S, the Tab S2 camera of 8 megapixel and 2, although now the f / 1.9 lens of the Galaxy S6 used to improve the picture quality.

The Tab S2 battery is two sizes smaller than its predecessor. The 9.7 inch version has a battery of 5870 mAh, which the predecessor of 10.5 inches was equipped with 7,900 mAh. The Tab S2 8-inch capacity is 4000 mAh, where the Tab 8.4 inch S had a battery of 4,900 mAh.

The Tab S2 released in September in the Netherlands. The smaller version is given a price of 399 Euros and will only be in a Wi-Fi version available. The 9.7-inch tablet appears for only 499 euros with WiFi and 579 euros as 4G version.
