Twitter launches personal digests tweets for Android users
Twitter launches new feature Highlights , which is twice a day will offer the user a personal digest of interesting tweets.
The innovation is intended to eliminate the need to view an infinite number of positions in the tape. At the moment, the new feature is only available for users of Android-devices.
Twitter’a application for Android will report on a new digest via push-notification, which will be displayed in the list of notifications from applications on the device. Clicking on it will cause the user is not in the standard tape, and in a separate section of the application. It will feature about 10 tweets, selected by importance (not in chronological order). To view them, you can scroll left or right. Then you can go back to using Twitter’a normally.
Highlights function selects tweets from popular accounts and discussions to which the user has subscribed, as well as trending topics and events. In addition, it also collects tweets of the people who have similar interests, as well as from the accounts, which were signed Friend particular user. Feature is not installed by default and requires activation in the settings.
In the future, the launch of this functionality is planned for users of other platforms.
Recall that a few days ago Twitter announced several new features designed to make the fight against internet trolls and abusive behavior within the platform more efficient.
