Grand Theft Auto V PC
Starting next week, PC gamers can finally get to work with GTA 5. More than eighteen months after the game released on Xbox 360 and PS3 (and four months after its launch on PS4 and Xbox One), the game finds its way to the PC. Rockstar sees it as the “ultimate” version of GTA 5, Gamer.nl recently flew to London to find out if this promise is justified.
Obviously the PC conversion largely identical to reissue the end appeared last year for PS4 and Xbox One, that things like the resolution and draw distance traffic density already been raised. The textures in the PC version do something better justice, but otherwise the game is largely unchanged. Well GTA 5 PC gets a new radio station (The Lab FM) and the ability to set its own transmitter together. Completely new is the Rockstar Editor, a comprehensive video editor that allows you to make small films in GTA 5 universe.
Well filming
Rockstar Editor is a modern, expanded version of the editor from the PC version of GTA 4. Players can at any time to start recording then using robust editing tools to turn it into a viral YouTube hit prospective. The editor allows you to set a range of variables, different camera angles, graphics, sound effects and soundtrack options to choose from.
If the default situations in the game are not sufficient, the Director Mode provides solace. Herein, it is possible for a variety of characters, a combination of actions, and environment variables with each other to create the desired setting. Rockstar Editor has built-in support for uploading creations simple to YouTube.

Port perils
The previous PC port of a GTA game went without a struggle. When GTA 4 seven years ago appeared on the PC, the game was plagued by bugs and gamers complained bitterly about the ridiculous system. Rockstar says the criticism loud and clearly heard and put the PC version of GTA 5 repeatedly to deliver on April 14, this “ultimate” version of the game. The early build we were shown still contained a few tiny graphical glitches, but was generally very smoothly.
4K
It was very impressive to play the game for the first time in 4K. This resolution ensures, along with the increased draw distance, that you can see the smallest details in the largest distances. Huge game world of GTA 5 is perfect for this kind of detail; if you are on the top of Mount Chilliad state, you can see the cars on the other side of the map riding formaatje Madurodam.
The higher frame rate is a fine addition. Where the console versions of the game were still struggling to get 30 image changes per second, you can enjoy a decent PC 60 frames per second. The fast gameplay is perfect for that. The sense of speed as you pop in a fighter jet over the world is considerably better advantage thanks to the smoother graphics but also around rip through the crowded streets of Los Santos on a tuned engine feels a lot better at 60 fps.
Graphics settings
As mentioned earlier, one of the bigger problems with the PC release of GTA 4 performance. The game was poorly optimized and turned even the toughest monster PCs not fluent. The recommended system requirements for this latest installment (Core i5 3470 / Geforce GTX 660 / 8GB RAM) seem more reasonable and the game has a whole series of graphic options to get the game up and running on less powerful PCs.

The density of pedestrians and traffic can be set so, different graphic effects as PostFX and tessellation enabled or disabled and there are extensive options to set the texture filters. Exactly how that works out, next week we will extensively test if the game nal-corpse appears on the PC. But as soon GTA 5 runs just as smoothly as during our early play session, the long wait was worth every penny.
