FC Barcelona takes it Wednesday night in the first game in the quarterfinals of the battle for the Spanish Cup against Athletic Bilbao without star player Lionel Messi.

The Argentinian was Sunday, in the league game against Athletic, substituted rest. Although a hamstring injury was feared, examination revealed a day later with no serious injury. Messi is nevertheless allowed to rest, reports the Catalan club.
