Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 10 has been installed over 200 million times.
In October, that figure still stood at 110 million installations, you know WinBeta reporting based on anonymous sources.
Windows 10 was released just five months ago. That would mean that the operating system, which was largely welcomed, installed 40 million times each month.
Windows 10 is a free upgrade to Windows 7 and Windows 8 users offered. Users of older versions of Windows will have to pay for Windows 10. Meanwhile, the operating system also comes pre-installed on new devices.
Furthermore, Microsoft is still a while to go before the goal of one billion systems within three years after the release of Windows 10 has been removed.
