Donald Duck and Disney create educational game


The Dutch weekly magazine Donald Duck has partnered with Disney designed an educational computer game to help children with homework. The game can be played against payment.
That makes Sanoma, the parent company of Donald Duck Weekly and include NU.nl, Friday.
World Smart Duck Adventures is a web game that kids can play online via a new website . The world of Donald Duck is shown in 3D.
Sanoma is the game, which is made with Disney, a world first. “By playing the game will be subject matter of elementary school playfully practiced in Duckburg,” the company said in a press release.
Educational
Besides helping with curriculum, it is intended that children have different skills. For Duck Smart World Adventures is also working with education specialists.
The game features more than twenty mini-games in which children have to solve problems, but also need to work together. In addition comes curriculum as math, vocabulary, geography and English discussed.
The game can only be played with a subscription. People who already subscribed to the magazine should have to pay 15 euros to play the game a year. The normal price is 29.95 euros per year. For 49.95 euros, the game can be played indefinitely.
