Lotus Elise celebrates twenty years with special edition
The Lotus Elise is one of the longest running models in the automotive world. The brand will celebrate a 20th Anniversary Special Edition.
Lotus Elise debuted in September 1995 at the IAA in Frankfurt. Since then, nearly 32,000 worldwide Elise sold.
The 20th Anniversary Special Edition is based on the Elise S Club Racer. The car is ten kilograms lighter than normal (924 kilograms).
That’ll include the installation of matt black lightweight wheels, a lightweight center console and sports seats.
The car is equipped with a 220 hp 1.8-liter four cylinder supercharged, bringing the Elise in 4.6 seconds to one hundred kilometers per hour and reach a top speed of 237 kilometers per hour. The “sport mode” enabled the throttle more responsive to commands and grabs the ESP later.
Lotus Elise delivers the birthday-which replaces the Elise S Club Racer, in four classic colors: blue, green, yellow and silver. The rollbar, diffuser, mirror frame and the rear lights are made of matte black.
