The action sequences were made to feel for a moment that we were in the presence of a Hollywood production that appeals only to explosions, fighting style similar to Iron Man or, for the purposes of light, phantom camera, etc. Also, we got a quick plot, which is seen to be too hasty to summarize the 70 chapters comprising the original series. The plot feels too rushed to tell things in the shortest possible time, taking with her plight something that certainly could be epic. Young gentlemen do not know what to do there except to protect a girl for the sake of doing it. Without asking or questioning anything, sacrifice their lives without this the least common sense. This is because the film forgot to do a more thorough introduction to the characters, something that is vital for future generations who may have had contact with the original series. For this, and forgetting that the film is based on a manga, as self-contained story also left much to be desired.

Saint Seiya: The Legend of the Sanctuary would succeed imitating patterns of international current market, but did not turn out quite right. The soundtrack was brief, and not as amazing as it could have been considering the impeccable work of Seiji Yokoyama inserts with the original series. Among the good points that can be highlighted, is the Latin dubbing, which remains outstanding and even though their voices do not sound like 20 years ago. For me, this is a movie that smells like disappointment whether or not based on something that we all know. It's the same story we see on every popcorn movie, and despite the original intention shown in the changes that were included in the end is nothing new under the sun.
