Liam Hemsworth mentioned to his friends last week that Miley Cyrus is still his "best friend."

The actor starred in Hunger Games , Liam Hemsworth, was heard by a witness at Portofino restaurant in Italy last weekend. He spoke of his ex-fiancée and cheerfully admitted that they still share a strong bond.

"We have a powerful and instant connection," he told his friends around a meal.

The relationship between Cyrus and Hemsworth ended after roughly three years of romance. They separated after the radical change of look and behavior on the part of the young singer. The couple was engaged, about to formalize their relationship.
