The HTC One M7 will not update to Android 5.1 Lollipop.
That confirms Mo Versi, vice president of products at HTC, via Twitter.
The One M7 does receive Android 5.0 Lollipop. The deployment of this update has begun in the Netherlands. Google Play Edition variant of the M7 One will probably be updated to Android 5.1.
Android 5.1 brings mostly minor improvements to Lollipop, such as the return of the silent mode, new animations within the Android system and better support for the use of two SIM cards.
